The molybdenum EM-Tec FIB lift-out grids with 2 posts are sturdier than the copper grids, they are also used where copper would interfere with investigation of the TEM lamella. The thickness of the standard Mo FIB lift-out grids is 45-55µm. Due to the material and the manufacturing process, the side walls of the Mo FIB lift-out grids are rougher than the those of the Cu FIB lift-out grids. Use of the FIB is therefore needed to make the sidewalls smoother. Unique indicators mark each individual post. Packaging size is vial/25. |

De EM-Tec geological thin section holders are compatible with geological thin sections or petrographic slides up to 27x47mm:
• EM-Tec G1 for a single petrographic slide
• EM-Tec G2 for two petrographic slides
The geological thin sections are placed in pockets and held firmly with two S-Clips. Available standard 3.2mm pin or with M4 threaded hole (compatible with the EM-Tec stage adapters and Hitachi SEMs).
